The Fanny Bay Inn is that perfect stop off for those times when you’re exploring the old island highway in your lovingly restored Lotus, or zipping along from antique store to curio market in a flashy red Cabriolet, or just out for a day with the kids and the dog. Cruising bicyclists also find a home here, as well as carefully maintained motorcycles and their owners, as well as the occasional long distance runner.

If you are lucky enough to live near the Fanny Bay Inn then you have the perfect snug retreat on those blustery winter days in front of our famed wood fireplace. People come to talk, to meet friends, to read a book or write one, to try out what’s on tap and the menu specialties.

The finest oysters on the continent are harvested just beyond the pub’s property line by an internationally renowned company. You’d have to be standing in the ocean pulling the oysters off the rocks yourself to get them any fresher.
Fish and Chips is always a fan favorite here and the Burgers; well everybody does burgers but the Fanny Bay Inn consistently wins hands down for its version on the old classic.
We can also do special occasions (large groups, business meetings, social outings) but a bit of warning would be useful if you decide to arrive with the full Manchester Workers’ Marching Band in tow or the graduating class of the University of Victoria.
